Happy to announce that three more papers got published: As part of his PhD, Nils published his modelling of the 2022 Mpox outbreak in Berlin in Communications Medicine (https://doi.org/10.1038/s43856-025-01340-5), whereas Pietro published his multi-scale agent-based modelling of SARS-CoV-2 intra- and between host evolution in Communications Biology (https://doi.org/10.1038/s42003-025-09403-y) and lastly, together with colleagues at HIRI Würzburg, we are part of a team that reports the discovery of Cas12a3 effector nucleases (bacterial immune defence against phages), published in Nature (https://doi.org/10.1038/s41586-025-09852-9).
